Svenja Bühl
Choreographer and movement consultant
Svenja Buehl is a dance artist and somatic movement practitioner working internationally within choreographic and community-based contexts that are rooted in live performance, video installation and education. She is associate artist for Ireland-based inclusive dance company, Undercurrent, and has an MFA in Creative Practice, having studied at Independent Dance and Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Her keen interest in psychological processes and mental health led her to undergo a course in Therapeutic Skills and Studies at the Metanoia Institute in London, which she will have completed in December 2022.
Svenja's community work is fueled by the strive to empower minority groups in and through the arts, in which exploring dialogic processes are of particular significance within her facilitative practice in schools, care homes and hospitals throughout Ireland and the UK.
